Missions of the Society
The Société des Amis du musée national de Céramique, Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society (FSMS), is a non-profit association based in Sèvres, nearby Paris, France, founded in 1930 and state-approved by a decree of November 20, 1967. It is set up to promote and develop the “Musée national de la céramique” in Sèvres.
The Society undertakes various activities and studies in the domain of ceramics and glass, in close partnership with the Sèvres museum.
The FSMS provides financial support for acquisitions aimed at increasing the collections of the Musée national de la céramique.
The FSMS contributes to extending the renown of the Cité de la céramique – Sèvres et Limoges, the French national pole devoted to ceramics and glass.
