Introducing the Cité de la céramique – Sèvres & Limoges

Since May 1, 2012, the Musée national de la Céramique (national Museum for Ceramics) in Sèvres, the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres (Sèvres national Manufactory) and the Musée national Adrien Dubouché in Limoges have been merged into a single public corporation entitled “Cité de la céramique – Sèvres & Limoges“. This new public corporation constitutes a major French national pole in the domain of ceramics and glass.

Located in Sèvres on the banks of the river Seine nearby Paris, the Musée national de la céramique houses one of the largest collections of ceramics from all countries, with 55,000 objects.
