Evening courses on ceramics
The FSMS started in 2019, with the support of Sèvres, National Manufactory & Museum, a second cycle of 4 yearly sessions of courses on the history and techniques of ceramics.
This activity is open to members and non members of the Friends of the Sèvres Museum Society. The lectures are given in French by curators and specialists in the domain.
A first cycle of courses was organized by the FSMS for the period 2015-2018.
The registration to the courses is subject to a subscription fee.
The FOURTH SESSION OF THE ON-GOING CYCLE OF COURSES, programmed to start in September 2023, will be devoted to:
« LA CERAMIQUE AU 19EME SIECLE ».
The third session of this cycle (September to December 2022) was devoted to:
« LES USAGES DE LA CERAMIQUE AUX XVII° ET XVIII° SIECLES ».
The second session of this cycle (September 2021 to January 2022 ) was devoted to:
“LA CERAMIQUE DU MOYEN-AGE ET DE LA RENAISSANCE”.
The first session of this cycle (Fall 2019) was devoted to:
“LA CÉRAMIQUE DE L’ANTIQUITÉ”.
