Society’s organization

FSMS members are invited to the Annual General Meeting which examines the status report and the financial report of the previous year, elects the Board members and debates on the FSMS’ future outlook. The minutes of the General Meetings and the Bylaws of the Society are availaible in the Members Space. The Board of Directors is composed of 24 members elected for four years. The Board elects the President and the Management Committee members.

The Honorary President of the FSMS is Antoine d’Albis, former Chief Scientist at the Sèvres national Manufactory, past President of the Society from 1988 to 2015. As of January 1st, 2016, the President is Cécile Dupont-Logié, honorary chief curator. Following the Board meeting held May 23, 2023, she is assisted by Chantal Pescheteau-Badin and Catherine Trouvet, vice-presidents, Patrice Cousin, general secretary, Jean-Marc Reynaud, deputy general secretary, Gilles Miroudot, treasurer, Florence Slitine, director of the Sèvres magazine.

The bylaws of the Société des Amis du musée national de Céramique modified by the Extraordinary General Meeting held on May 15, 2012, was approved by a decree of the Ministère de l’Intérieur dated December 20, 2013, published in the Journal Officiel  de la République Française of December 20, 2013.
